Prior to co-founding the company, he was the President and co-owner of the Related Companies, L.P., a privately held real estate and investment company. Before joining Related in 1985, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Augenblick was named one of the top 100 collectors in the United States by Art & Antiques magazine. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School.Barbara ChuPartner ×Barbara Chu Barbara Chu is a Partner of Emigrant Bank Fine Art Finance. Prior to joining the company, she was the National Head of commercial mortgages at MetLife and ran the Northeastern region for Prudential. While in real estate, Ms. Chu was an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School teaching real estate finance and capital markets. She has served as an advisor, consultant and expert witness to major private and public investors, and has developed new lending categories, including rare stringed instruments, fine wines, and specialized classes of collectibles for clients in Europe, the U.K. and Asia. She has been a guest lecturer at Tsinghua University, Sotheby’s, Christie's, NYU, and at private banks and industry events. Ms. Chu graduated with honors from Columbia Business School and the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London.Li Jun XianPartner ×Li Jun Xian Li Jun Xian is a Partner at Emigrant Bank Fine Art Finance. She works closely with financial advisors, accountants, and lawyers to structure loans for art, classic car and rare stringed instrument collectors, gallery owners, and institutions seeking liquidity from their passion assets. Prior to joining the company in 2007, Ms. Xian was a credit analyst at Goldman Sachs, where she analyzed and monitored the firm’s counterparty trading risk and advised major public and private companies on capital structure decisions and their effects on credit ratings. She began her career in the art world as an intern at Christie’s and the Robert Miller Gallery, and is currently the Treasurer of the Professional Organization for Women in the Arts (POWarts). Ms. Xian graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a BA in Economics and Art History.Nancy HarrisonPartner and Senior Art Specialist ×Nancy Harrison Nancy Harrison is a Partner and the Senior Fine Art Specialist at Emigrant Bank Fine Art Finance and its subsidiary, Fine Art Asset Management. Prior to joining the company in 2006, she was a Senior Vice President at Sotheby’s for 25+ years and later the founder and President of her own art advisory firm. She is a Certified Appraiser with expertise in valuing Old Masters, Modern, and Contemporary and Emerging Art. Additionally, she is a USPAP-compliant Appraiser (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice), the federally-mandated guidelines endorsed by The Appraisal Foundation (Washington D.C.) and by the U.S. Congress. Ms. Harrison is a past President of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), the oldest and most prestigious professional organization of personal property appraisers, and is currently a member of its Board of Directors and co-chair of the Development Committee. She is a member of the Association of Professional Art Advisors (APAA) and has been qualified as an Expert Witness on art valuation matters in New York, Pennsylvania, and Federal Tax Court, as well as provided expertise for Florida courts. She is a frequent lecturer and has taught at NYU’s School of Professional Studies. She is a graduate of Vassar College with a BA in Art History and an MA from Hunter College Graduate Division.Megan PringlePartner ×Megan Pringle Megan Pringle is a Partner at Emigrant Bank Fine Art Finance. Prior to joining the company in 2007, Ms. Pringle worked in programming, development and education for New York City nonprofit arts organizations, including the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture. She graduated from The State University of New York at Geneseo with a BA in Art History and an MA from Sotheby’s Institute of Art (London).Kate Kamp Collateral Art Analyst ×Kate Kamp Kate Kamp is a Collateral Art Analyst at Emigrant Bank Fine Art Finance and its art advisory and appraisal subsidiary. Prior to joining the team in 2021, Ms. Kamp worked in the commercial gallery world as Director at Driscoll Babcock Galleries in New York, where she gained extensive experience in art sales, exhibitions, research, operations, and administration. Ms. Kamp graduated with an MA in Art History from Tufts University and a BA in Art History from Smith College.
